Round Up: Cocktails Around Atlanta

Round Up: Cocktails Around Atlanta

There’s always time for a cocktail, that’s why I have rounded up some places to get good cocktails in Atlanta. I don’t know about you, but I love my cocktails, especially the fruity sweet ones with just enough alcohol in them.

Below are some places I recently tried out in the city.

Bartaco: At Bartaco, I ordered the Caipirinha and I absolutely loved it. Caipirinha is a Brazilian national cocktail, made with cacha├ža, sugar and lime. This drink was the perfect combination of fruit and alcohol for me – just how I like my cocktails.

Bar Margot: Here, I ordered a classic – gin and tonic. Gin and Tonic is one of those drinks you can actually never go wrong with. The combination is one I absolutely love.

9MileStation: At 9mile station, I got the “Million Dollar View” which consisted of plantation dark rum, luxardo  maraschino, combier apricot, soda and orange. This drink was a little too strong for me, but it was good all the same. If you like your cocktails on the stronger side, then you should definitely go for it.

5Church Atlanta: This Basil and Strawberry Cocktail had to be one of the best cocktails I have had in the city. The basil helped give a stronger taste to the sweetness of the strawberries. Strawberries are one of my favourite fruits for cocktails, so I absolutely loved it. If you love berries like me, then this drink is for you.

Bar Mercado: Visited Bar Mercado recently to try out their new brunch menu, and their cocktails are absolutely amazing. One of the ones I tried was the Technicolor Vacation, which is typically rum based with coconut water, coconut liquer, blood orange, lime and bitters. This cocktail was really refreshing due to the addition of coconut water in it. If you like coconut water, then you should definitely get this.

Hope this round up helps you when next you’re looking for cocktails in the city.

Lots of love,
