Keeping things colourless is quite easy, you don’t have to put much thought into it. But did you know colours could help brighten your mood? Colour is always affecting us whether or not we are aware.
Indeed, we all have our favourite colours (or maybe not), but some articles have shown that certain colours actually affect us both mentally and physically. Colour helps us to create energy.
Pink is a feminine and calm colour, and it helps to reduce anger. In 2013, the UK Telegraph released an article in which they stated the colour pink actually helps to reduce anger in as little as 15 minutes. Now, next time I am upset/angry, i’ll certainly be trying this out.
Pink is said to be associated with kindness. No wonder I was super kind on this day *lol* I recently just learned about colour psychology and it sparked some interest in me. I’ll definitely be testing this out over the next few weeks, paying close attention to the colours I wear and how they affect my mood.
