Little Black Dress

Hey Guys!!!!

So it is the weekend, yaaaay and it is a long weekend in America. It is the Martin Luther King holiday tomorrow, so there’s loads of fun and celebrations around town.

How are you celebrating the Legend that is Martin Luther King?

How about a little black dress to get your groove on this weekend?

Little black dresses have been a thing for a while now and everyone seems to love the lbd trend. The great thing is that they can be styled down or up depending on what look you are going for.

You hardly find me in short dresses, because I feel I do not have that banging body to pull it off (and also because i’m out of that phase where you feel short is always attractive). However, this dress particularly struck me the moment I saw it. It was also the last one and in my size too. You can imagine how excited I was.

I love good quality pieces with good details. The details on this dress are really unique and timeless. I decided to shoot a simple party look. I love how subtle the nude heels are but still compliment it. This whole outfit is really delicate, and that’s okay because sometimes less is more.

To conclude, I’ll leave you with one of my favourite MLK quotes, which is also one of my life themes.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

This quote is one of my favourites, because everything I do these days is through faith. I don’t know how many things I have done in uncertainty, but what I do know is that faith keeps me moving and hopeful.

Today, I am wearing;

Topshop LBD (Old) I like these options here  and here

Ava & Aiden Etta two-piece high heel sandals on major sale here

You can also accessorise with flower headband here

Once again, thank you for stopping by.

Lots of love,
