Don’t you just love it when you throw on clothes and then realise you actually look good and should take pictures? I initially wore this vintage inspired outfit to my nieces 2nd birthday dinner. Everyone loved the look, so I decided to write a post on it.
I love love love getting dressed without having to stress about what to wear or what to put together, especially when I have an aim. I have realised that it is the days when I stress about my outfits that I end up mismatching pieces or getting rid of a totally bomb look. I love simple and I feel not a lot of people appreciate simple looks.
I really liked how simple this look was and comfy too. This outfit is really chic and timeless. It has a modern touch to a vintage vibe.
I got this top earlier this year from my sisters friend who sells vintage things. If you look really close, you see the shoulder pads on the shirt. This is one of the details that drew me to it. I also really like the detailed badges along the bottoms on the shirt. I am a sucker for vintage items and I love when I find a vintage staple that is versatile.
I styled this blouse before here. Which look do you prefer?
I rewire this outfit on a day out with my mum. I felt like a young city girl with a vintage vibe exploring the city. Moments like this are what I live for and this is one of my aims for this blog. I am trying to stay away from totally dressing up just to take pictures. I actually want to be myself as much as possible and this involves me showing you as I am. Showing you outfits I wear every other day and things that I enjoy doing. I do hope you all enjoy going on this journey with me as much as I enjoy embarking on the journey.
In todays post, I am wearing;
Asos denim (old)
Thrifted vintage blouse
My mothers bag
Steve Madden Strapper Heels here on sale for less than half the original price
Fun fact: My skirt is actually dungarees. I tucked in the top part and tied the suspenders to the back. This is such a fun outfit. I love making new pieces out of old ones.
Thank you for stopping by.
Lots of love from a young city girl with vintage vibes xoxo
