The weather in ATL has been really good up until now. Well, up until two days ago. It is that time of the year when you go out in hoodies and by noon it is hot or when you do not even know what to expect at all. It’s been raining two days consecutively.
Guess what? It is back to warm weather tomorrow. How bipolar?
I am usually not a fan of the winter. It is my worst time to play dress up. I get cold really easily and I just want to stay indoors.
Winter is really gloomy and this is not a reflection of my personality. Despite this, this year I have decided to make an extra effort to looking good in the winter. I hope I stay true to this because I hate layers and I hate all that extra clothing that comes with the cold.
I took advantage of the chill that’s in now to test some winter looks. This is one of the ones I came up with. Ofcourse I cannot dress this way in dead winter. It’s either I want to look cute or I want to freeze my bum off.
I’d ditch looking cute for staying warm, thank you. I do not do well with being sick either and I’ll hate to get sick because I am trying to look cute. So yeah, as much as I love this outfit, it is not practical.
One thing I definitely took away from this though is the leather and fur combo. I love love love it.
Leather and fur create such a chic look especially when black is involved. These two are definitely something I would like to pair in another form.
In todays post, I am wearing;
COS black sweater (sold out) I like this here
River Island faux leather skater skirt
Guess over-the-knee dress boots here
Thank you for reading.
Lots of love,
