Pencil skirts are fast becoming my thing. I used to shy away so much from them because I am on the slim side, and they just do not flatter my figure or my body in general. However, I am slowly but surely giving in and learning to carry myself when I do wear them. I try to pair them with slimy looking tops or figure flattering tops, so that i am not looking super slim.
I know you all are like what is she even talking about? but I actually do take offence in being slim. I feel like people only take offence when someone is called fat, but to me it is the same gravity when someone says “oh you are so skinny”. Weird I know because a lot of people want to be skinny/slim and I am here scrambling for some extra flesh, even with all the food that I eat. Anyway, that is story for another day.
I really like this look because it gives away that vintage mature vibe and that’s definitely what I aim for with my looks these days. I love timeless pieces you can wear over and over again and pair with other separates.
I would wear this look to a book launch, lunch/dinner with friends, or to a semi-casual event. It is so comfy and flattering at the same time. It screams yes she’s young, but mature and classy (at least that’s what I think). These are the types of crops I die for 🙂
In todays post, I am wearing
