The story of the Hard Werker

Hey Guys,

Hope you have all had a great week? Mine has been stressful, but I am learning to give thanks in all things these days. Anyways, enough about me. Let’s get on to style.

In todays style post, I am wearing this super cute “dress” I got from Nasty gal a while back. I decided to pair it with a shirt because I ordered what would normally be my size, but when it came, it was a bit too big. I didn’t want to return it and get a size down because the process involved wasΒ awayΒ too LONG and I justΒ didn’t have the time for that. I though hey, i’ll rock it anyway. Fast forward to the day of my shoot, I figured this dress was waaay too revealing to be worn on its own. I mean who do I think I am? Plus, the way my body is set up, I don’t have big boobs to at least fill in the front *sigh* I think i’m going to have it taken in, so that I can at least wear it sometimes without thinking uh oh you’re naked girl.

Anyway, moving on. I paired it with this shirt and I liked the Chic look it produced. I would wear this tamed outfit to work midweek or on a Friday. I would “maybe” wear it to an interview too (I’m still deciding how appropriate it would be). I’ll definitely wear it to a meeting though. If I was a professor or teacher, this would definitely be an outfit I’ll lecture in. I’ll werk the hard out of this dress … I mean it is called hard werker for a reason πŸ˜‰

I love how versatile this look is. It can quickly go from sexy to serious in the snap of a finger. I also love the vintage feel to it. If you know me and follow me closely, you’ll know that I am a sucker for vintage pieces.

That’s all for now guys. I hope you have enjoyed reading. In todays post, I am wearing;
